Si-o-se-pol
Isfahan · IRAN DIGITAL WALL

With thirty-three arches, Si-o-se-pol links the Chahar Bagh avenues on either side of the Zayandeh Rud. Built in the early seventeenth century under Allahverdi Khan, it was conceived as both crossing and public gathering place. The repeated arches in evening and night light— even when the river runs low—create one of Isfahan’s most enduring rhythms.
