With an axial watercourse, shade trees and Hasht Behesht pavilion, Dowlatabad is one of Iran’s loveliest desert gardens. Its tall windcatcher directs breezes inside for cooling; stained glass, water and geometry make the garden a component of UNESCO’s Persian Garden property.
